Steamboat All Arts Festival
August 20-23, 2009
 

The Steamboat All Arts Festival is the newest and most collaborative event in Steamboat Springs, CO. The Steamboat All Arts Festival is a four-day event that highlights the amazing arts and culture in the Yampa Valley while featuring nationally-renowned artists. The Steamboat All Arts Festival incorporates all aspects of the arts into one cohesive event including dance, vocal, musical, visual, literary and culinary arts.

Come experience this high-class celebration of the arts that entertains and inspires through featured performances by the Avett Brothers, George Winston and the Steamboat Springs Orchestra conducted by Ernest Richardson. The Yampa River Art Stroll will be the heart of the event and will showcase award-winning local and regional visual artists. Experiential and educational workshops will be available all weekend and open to all levels. 

Come to Steamboat Springs to enjoy the arts, culture and beauty of the Yampa Valley.

Thursday, August 20th 
•5PM - Avett Brothers - Free Summer Concert Series at the Base of the Ski Area
•5-6:30PM - Seminars at Steamboat Presents Alice Rivlin at the Strings Festival Pavilion
•7-8PM - Voices on the Wind slide presentation and book signing with author Bonnie McGee at the Bud Werner Memorial Library
•8-10PM - Sips & Sweets at participating restaurants
Friday, August 21st 
•10AM-6PM – Yampa River Art Stroll  
•5PM - Design District Downtown Stroll
•5PM - Poetry Slam at the Bud Werner Memorial Library
•5:30-8PM – Plein Air Artists Reception at the Steamboat Art Museum

Saturday, August 22nd 
•10AM-6PM – Yampa River Art Stroll 
•10AM-3PM – Plein Air Quickdraw painting on local ranch with barbeque at Wolf Run Ranch
•11AM-11:30AM - Public Art Dedication of Sculpture, "Let the Music Play"
•12NOON-6PM – Performances on the Yampa Stage at the Yampa River Art Stroll
•5:30PM – Film & Feast event with Dori Weiss at the St. Cloud Mountain Club
•6:30PM – Loco di Vino! Fundraiser for Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp
•7:30PM – Steamboat Springs Orchestra concert at the Strings Festival Pavilion
•8-10PM - Sips & Sweets at participating restaurants

•3PM – Emerald City Opera performing The Telephone and excerpts from The Elixir of Love Opera at the Bud Warner Memorial Library
